Alm Family Practice provides a comprehensive array of primary care including health promotion, disease prevention, health maintenance, counseling, patient education, and diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses. Our staff works hard to make sure patient care is coordinated and high quality.
Lab Testing.
Medical tests can help detect a condition, determine a diagnosis, plan treatment, check to see if treatment is working, or monitor your condition over time. Alm Family Practice may order these tests as part of your routine checkup, to check for certain diseases and disorders, or to monitor your health.
Telemedicine.
Alm Family Practice is a local leader in telemedicine. We believe this provides greater access to healthcare for many of our patients. Telemedicine can be used to treat chronic conditions, long term care, lab testing, and provide comprehensive primary care. Telemedicine makes it easier for people with disabilities to access care and improves access for all populations.
Long Term Care.
Long term care involves a variety of services designed to meet a person's health or personal care needs during a short or long period of time. These services help people live as independently and safely as possible when they can no longer perform everyday activities on their own. We will help connect patients and family members to the best options available.
Wellness Exams.
A wellness examination (also known as a “physical examination”) is a routine test to check your overall health. The wellness exam can be a good time to ask your provider questions about your health or discuss any changes or problems.
Chronic Conditions.
A long-term illness or chronic health condition is any condition lasting six months or longer, such as asthma, arthritis, cancer, obesity, diabetes, or heart disease. The incidence of long-term illnesses and chronic conditions is increasing in the US due to a range of factors, including an aging population and lifestyle issues such as smoking and poor diet. We are here to help you address these conditions.
